The Hoptimist DIPA – ABV 9.1%

Big juicy hop-bomb, originally brewed in collaboration with North Riding.

Look: Dark gold with a thin white head.

Aroma: Grapefruit, sharpened with lime zest and lots of pine needles.

Taste: Bitter pine resin throughout, with fresh citrus set against a backbone of dark caramel malt.

Verdict: Beautiful marriage of an old school and West Coast DIPA.

Tax Man DIPA – ABV 8.6%

Thick as treacle, sitting somewhere between a Double and Imperial IPA (if you perceive a difference) and loaded with bitter hops.

Look: Dark hazy orange with a thin white head.

Aroma: Sweet caramel, with passionfruit and lemon zest.

Taste: Syrupy thick, malty backbone with a massive bitter finish.

Verdict: Serious old-school double IPA that treads the line between smooth and powerful with delicious aplomb.

Mango Dipper DIPA – ABV 8.2%

Captain Insano Triple IPA – ABV 10%

Duecebox DIPA – ABV 8.3%

Boss Boss ABV 7.4%

Double IPA. Two malts, two wheat malts, two bittering hops, two aroma hops and two yeasts.

Double of everything. A big league IBU balanced to perfection. So good they named it twice.

Marble Murk du Soleil ABV 9%

Murk du Soleil is a New Zealand take on the New England IPA style.

A pale, oat-laden grist gives a full, silky-smooth body, setting the stage for a dazzling array of fruity South Island hop character – passion fruit, papaya, nectarine, kiwi and mango.

F@#k You I Won’t Brew You Tell Me – ABV 9.3%

We can testify this beer is in your face about hops and bitterness. Bold USA hops work their forces. Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe and Chinook give grapefruit, squeezed orange juice and pine aromas. Swilling in the name of proper DIPAs. Light caramel, more citrus fruits and resin: tasty, dry, we won’t brew what they told us.

55/06 Double IPA Galaxy Mosaic – ABV 8.2%

Galaxy and Mosaic are both known for their potently tropical and savoury properties, and putting them in contest with one another seems to bring out the best of both. Punchy pineapple, citrus, allium and apricot notes soak the palate with every sip.

Beavertown Shut Up And Play the Hits – ABV 8.8%

Collab with Verdant Brewing Co

Fuelled by pure mango petrol this juicy double Ipa is a banger.
A sneaky but well meaning bitterness luring in the background, with a pleasant fruity sweetness being the main star on stage.

Full, round and thick – You are welcome
